1. In the product entry section, scan or enter the **Product Id** for the Kit Header product or click** Search** to use used the [Product Finder](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30531076) or [Product Multi Selection](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530036) to add the Kit Header product.
2. <**Tab**> to the next field and the **Kit Order Line Maintenance **window will open for you to confirm or modify the template kit before adding it to the order.

3. The **Kit Order Line Maintenance **window has three sections, based on the kit's configuration.

> ✅ **Note**: Refer to [Maintain Kits](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/prostix/pages/31096836) for more information related to the kit's configuration.

1. **Additional Product Entry **

> ℹ️ **Note: **This requires **Allow products not on the kit to be added** to be enabled on the kit. This includes the use of **Quicklists.**
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ Here you can add additional components/products not already defined to the kit, including parent products. This will only add the component to the kit for this selection. Special Products can be added via the **Actions** menu.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ When adding parent products, the behaviour differs depending on whether the product is a tally or non-tally parent product. Refer to [Add Tally Products](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30532012) and [Add Products (Non-tally)](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30531990) for detailed information on how parent products are handled during product entry.

2. **Kit Component Details **  
Here you can view and remove components on the selected kit.
  1. Use the **Select **checkbox to choose the components you want in the kit.
  2. Click **Close **to remove the component for the kit for the order.

> ℹ️ Selecting the components included in a kit requires **Can kit product be selected **to be enabled for the kit.

3. **Kit Details and Pricing**  
This selection displays:
  1. **Product ID** for the kit header
  2. The** Description** will update with the description of the components being selected for the kit. This field is editable
  3. The Sell **Price **for the kit. This can be updated as required
  4. The **GP% **can be updated in the **Sell Price by GP% **window by clicking on the **Edit **icon.
  5. Any additional **comments** can be added too.

> ℹ️ To update the **Sell Price **or the **Sell Price by GP%** requires **Can change kit price** to be enabled on the kit.

> 📝 Select **Reload Default Components **from the **Actions **menu to revert the kit back to its default configuration.

4. Click **Select **to add the kit to the order's product entry section where you can:

- Update the **Quantity** of kit being added to the product.
- Apply the **Usage**, if required.
- Select an **Overwrite Reason **if the kit has been modified from its default configuration.

> 📝 To edit a kit before it is added to an order click the  icon. If the Kit has been added to the order, edit the product line by clicking the **Edit **icon then the  icon.

2. If the order is being delivered, in the **Delivery Details** tab, complete at least the Deliver To and Address fields with the relevant delivery information. If the order is 'Pick Up' these details will not be required.
