Use this procedure to convert a timber pack into loose stock inventory when individual pieces need to be sold separately rather than as a complete pack.

## Prerequisites

> 📝 - Access to **Inventory > Stock Adjustments > Pack to Loose Stock**
> 📝 - Branch number (or access to search for and select the correct branch)
> 📝 - Pack number for the timber pack to be converted (or access to search for and select the pack)
> 📝 - User permissions to perform **Pack to Loose Stock** stock adjustments

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Inventory > Stock Adjustments > Pack to Loose Stock**.
2. In the **Select Branch** screen, enter the branch number in the **Branch Number** field, or select F3 to search for branches.
3. In the **Pack to Loose Stock** screen, enter the pack number in the **Pack Number** field, or select F3 to search for the pack to convert.
4. Review the pack details displayed to ensure the correct pack is selected.
5. Select **F1 **to convert the pack into loose stock, or select **F4 **to cancel the process.

## Result

The timber pack is converted to loose stock inventory. The individual pieces from the pack are now available for sale as separate items rather than as a complete pack. The pack record is removed from the system and stock quantities are updated to reflect the loose stock.
