# Overview

Use the **Import Job** feature to bring an estimator’s file into a job, allowing you to quickly create quotes or orders. After importing a CSV file, you’ll need to review and resolve any issues to ensure the data matches your Frameworks setup.

> ⚠️ **Important:** Before importing, make sure the estimator’s name is added in Frameworks. To do this navigate to **System Administration > System Setup > Sales > Job Import - Estimators**, and add the estimator as needed.

# Importing a Job

Follow these steps to import an estimator’s job file into your project

1. Select the Project **Job** that you want to import the estimator's job into. If there is no job, then create a new job first.

> ✅ Refer to [Jobs](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHEAT/pages/24407042) or [Project Jobs and Quotes](https://bit.ly/3fLTZT5) eLearning module for more information.

2. Click on the **Import Job** button in the **Job Details **section.
3. In the **Job Import **window,** **select the **Estimator **and **Package** from the drop-down menus and then click **Select **file.
4. Click **Choose File**, locate the file you want to upload, and click **Upload**.
5. Once the file has been uploaded, you will be taken to the **Resolve Job Import Lines** window. Resolve any of the issues with **Invalid UOM, Invalid Sections, Invalid Usage **or **Invalid Products** within the estimator's files so they match the sections and products within frameworks.

> ℹ️ Once an **Invalid UOM, Section, Usage **and/or **Product** has been matched, the match will be saved in Frameworks for future imports.

6. Choose if you want the import to be a quote by ticking **Create Quote **or an order by deselecting the box.
7. Once you have completed the validation, click **Apply & Close** at the bottom of the window to create a **Quote/Order. **You will be prompted with any issues on saving.

> ℹ️ The validation doesn't need to be completed to close this window, just in case you have some queries to follow up with your estimator. To go back to and review the import, click on the **Review Import** button from the **Job Details** section.
