The Product Multi Selection allows you to add one or multiple products to a Point of Sale transaction, Sales Quote, Sales Order or Purchase Order saving you time when finding and adding products. Accessing the Multi Product Selection Window To access the Product Multi Select window, perform the following: From the  Product Entry  sections on a Quote or an Order, you can open the multi-product selection window using the  Search  icon. In the  Search Text  field, enter the product you are searching for and click  Find . In the  Results Grid  find the product/s you wish to add to the order and click on the  Qty/Tally  field and enter the quantity or tally amounts you want to add to the order.  Once you have entered all the quantity amounts for the products, click  Add to Selctions  to add the products to the  Selections List. If you perform another search without clicking the Add to Selections button, the products with quantities will automatically be added to the Selections List. Click the  Use Selections  button once all the products have been added to the Selections List to add them to your order. Navigating the Product Multi Select Window Once you have opened the  Product Multi Select  Window, you can mass select products: 1. The Search Options: You can refine your search for products in the multi-product selection window by  Branch, Search Text, Stocked Only  products,  Supplier  of the product and  Product Group . You can also enter either the Supplier GTIN or Catalogue number into the search text field and the system will search and replace with the Product Code. If the system setting - flag  FWProdBarSrch  is ticked a products barcode will be included in the searching of a product. This may cause more search results when searching with numbers. A  Supplier  must be selected to display a minimum order quantity. Click  Find  once your search criteria have been entered. Click  Add To Selections  to add the products to the  Selections List. 2. The Search Results Grid  The search results grid displays product information related to the search criteria. Description Displays the  Product Description ; clicking on the hyperlink will add the single product to the product entry area, where you can then update the quantity, UOM, etc., before applying it as an order line. Product Displays the  product Id. Tally Req This will be enabled if the product is a tally product and requires the tally to be entered into the next field. Qty / Tally This field is editable.  For the required products, enter in the quantity or tally amounts you want to add to your order. Qty Min. Ord Displays the minimum order quantities for a supplier. This will display as 0 if a  Supplier  has not been used in the search criteria. CDF Src This will be ticked if this product is sourced through the Central Distribution Facility. UOM Displays the default unit of measure for the given product. Qty On Hand Displays the current quantity of stock on hand. RRP GST Ex Displays the recommended retail price excluding GST. RRP GST Inc Displays the recommended retail price including GST. Qty On C/O Displays the current quantity of stock on customer orders ready to be released. Qty On P/O Displays the current quantity on purchase orders ready to be receipted. Product Type Displays the  Product Type , for example, Normal, Promotional, Run Out, Manufactured, Miscellaneous, special, etc. Branch Type Displays if the product is  Stocked  or  NOT Stocked  for the selected branch. 3. The Selections List This section will display the products that have been added using the  Add To Selections  button; each product that has had a quantity or tally amount added will appear in this window. The Selections List displays the following information:  Selected Product Details:  This column displays the  Product Id, Description  and the  Quantity  added by the  UOM. Usage:  If required, you can apply usage  code  information to the product. Click in the usage field to add the code, or use the  Search  icon to search for available usage codes. Click  Delete  to remove any products from this list. The Command Buttons The  Command Buttons  are used to finalize the  Product Multi Select  section. Click  Use Selections  to add the selected products as  Order Lines  or click  Close  to close the  Product Multi Selec t window. Additional Information Refer to  Product Multi Selection  for more information.  The below system settings may be used to customise the functionality of your Frameworks instance. System Settings - Flags Flag Purpose FWProdBarSrch Allow barcode to be included in product text search When enabled, products barcode will be included in the searching of a product. This may cause more search results when searching with numbers. When disabled, products barcode will NOT be included in the searching of a product.
