RD1 Supercards are used by some New Zealand customers as a valid tender type. This procedure explains how to accept an RD1 Supercard as payment at point of sale.

> 📝 - Tender types configured in ProStix (see Configure Tender Types)
> 📝 - EFTPOS terminal connected and operational
> 📝 - RD1 Supercard details available from customer
> 📝 - Sale processed and ready to tender (see [Process a Cash Sale ](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/CO/30523494/Process+a+Cash+Sale)or [Process an Account Sale](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/CO/30508946/Processing+Account+Sales))

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Point Of Sale**.
2. Click **Tender** to process the sale. The [tendering ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530648)options display.
3. From the **Tender Type** button, select **RD1 CARD** and click **Process**. A card entry window displays.
4. In the **Name** field, enter the name as it appears on the RD1 Supercard.
5. In the **Number** field, enter the 9-digit number (starting with 9) as it appears on the RD1 Supercard.
6. Click **Process **to complete the transaction. A message "Generating output file" may display.
7. Swipe the RD1 Supercard via the EFTPOS machine to complete the sale.

## Result

The sale is processed with the RD1 Supercard as the payment method. The **Payment Details** tab displays the RD1 Supercard details when you re-enter the sale.

To cancel the entry before completing the transaction, click **Cancel**.
