# Overview

To create a sales order or quote, complete the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Sales** > **Transaction Processing** > **Sales Orders** from the navigation tree.
2. Click the **New** button to create a new order or quote.

The **Creating a Sales Order or Quote Operator Processes** will assist you in creating any of the various types of sales orders and quotes.
