# Overview

**Product Group Reprice** allows for specific product groups to be price matched to an elected Gross Profit percentage (%) or to an elected Cost Plus percentage (%).

> ℹ️ Any previous discounts are removed as part of this process as the elected price takes precedence.

# How to Reprice Product Groups using GP% and Cost Plus %

To reprice product groups, complete the following:

1. Click > Macro (inline-media-image)

 then navigate to **Sales** > **Transaction Processing** > **Sales Orders** from the navigation tree.
2. Find and open an existing sales order or quote.

3. Click **Actions** to open the actions menu and select **Product Group Reprice**.
4. Within the **Product Group Reprice **window, complete the following:
  - Select a **Reprice Method** from the dropdown menu.
  - In the **Percentage** field, enter the relevant percentage to be applied via the selected reprice method.
  - Define the range of products using the **From **and **To Group** fields for which the reprice will be applied. If no product groups are defined, all product groups will be repriced.
  - Select the relevant **Override Reason **from the dropdown menu.
  - If applicable, you can reprice a single product group by clicking within the **%** field of each group.

> ℹ️ - **Gross Profit** reprices the product sell based on the product cost and the percentage, where the new product sell will be adjusted and the gross profit will equal the specified percentage.
> ℹ️ - **Cost Plus** reprices the product sell based on the product cost and the percentage, where the sell price will equal the product cost (standard cost or average cost depending on your system settings) x the percentage.
> ℹ️ - You can also reprice by product sub-groups, by default the **From Group **and **To Group **will display the product group/subgroup/subgroup/subgroup down to 3 levels.
> ℹ️ - **Original GP%** displays the gross profit of the sales order before the reprice takes effect and **New GP%** displays the gross profit after it is applied.

5. Once complete, click **Save** to apply the updated prices to the existing product groups.

> ✅ **Tip: **Click **Preview** to preview the changes at any time.
