# <span style="color: #172b4d">How to Process a Cash Sale </span>

To process a cash sale in Frameworks, perform the following:

## 1. Open the POS screen

Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate **Sales > Transaction Processing > Point of Sale **from the navigation free.

## 2. Start a new sale

> ℹ️ If required, click the **New Sale **button at the bottom of the screen.

By default, the transaction type is set to **Cash Sale**, and the **Customer** field displays **Cash Sales**.

> ℹ️ For **Account Customer **sales, in the **Customer** field, start typing the Customers Name or ID and select the customer.

## 3. Add products

## 4. Complete the sale

1. Click **Finish**, and the **Tendering** window appears.
2. Select the **Tender Type**, the amount to be paid. **Total Tendered**,** Outstanding**, **Change Due** are filled in automatically calculated.

3. Click **Pay** once payment has been received and tendered.
4. Click **Save/Close** to complete the sale.
