How to Create a Credit Note or Refund on a POS Transaction. To create a credit note or refund on POS,  perform the following: Click   then  Sales > Transaction Processing > Credit Notes  from the navigation tree. Click   to process a new  Credit Note. If required, enter your Operator number and PIN. From the  Type  drop-down menu  select  Stock Return  or  Overcharge. From the  Reason  drop-down menu select pre-defined reason for the refund. The list of options may be dependent on the the  Type  field. In the  Original Docket  field, enter the docket number or click   to find the original transaction number. If applicable, in the  B/O  field enter the back order number. Click   to load original transaction details. If there's no original docket and a credit is being manually added, Click   to add products. If the transaction is: A  Stock Return,  in the  Credit Qty  field enter the quantity of goods being returned. An  Overcharge,  in the  Unit Credit  field enter the price that the customer has been overcharged. Click  , and the  Tendering  Window is displayed, tender the refund as required.  Refer to  Tendering Payments , for more information.
