# How to Create a New Job for a Project

To create a New Job for a Project perform the following:

> Macro (rw-ui-steps-macro)
>

>

> <span style="color: #333333"> then navigate to </span>**Sales > Transaction Processing > Projects **<span style="color: #333333">from the navigation tree.</span>

> If you know part of the **Project No** or **Description** already type them into the text fields to limit your search results.  
> Additionally, you can also enter the **Customer Id** into the **Customer No** field to further limit results. The > Macro (inline-media-image)

>  button is available to search from.

> 
> Click the [Unknown Attachment] button.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Select the relevant **Project** hyperlink to view information for the chosen project.

> In the **Description** field, type the description of the job you are creating.

> Type the delivery sequence into the **Delivery Seq** field (the > Macro (inline-media-image)

> Select the status of the job using the drop down arrow > Macro (inline-media-image)

> Click the [Unknown Attachment] button.

> > ℹ️ Additionally, the new job can now be attached to existing Sales Orders or Quotes through the **Sales Orders** activity (in the **Job** field under the **Header** tab)
