Voiding a sales order allows you to remove/delete the selected transaction from the [Sales Orders Dashboard](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391216) prior to it being released.

# How to Void a Sales Order

To void a sales order, perform the following:

1. Click the** Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders **from the navigation tree.
2. In the** Customer **field, start typing the customer's name or** **ID and select your desired option from the list of suggested customers.
  Alternatively, click the **Search** icon to open the **Customer Finder** window and search for a customer.
3. Click the **Find** button to display all sales orders fitting the search criteria.
4. Click the appropriate **Order** hyperlink to open the order details.
5. Click the **Actions** button to open the actions menu and select **Void Order**.
6. In the **Void Sales Order **window, update the following:
  - Select a **Void Reason **from the drop-down menu.
  - Enter who the order was **Terminated By** (the customer's name).  
Then, click **Confirm** to complete the termination.
7. Voided sales orders can be viewed from within the [Customer Transaction Enquiry Dashboard](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28384484) screen.
