# How to Search for Open Sales Orders or Quotes

To search for open sales orders or quotes perform the steps below:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders **from the navigation tree.
2. Enter your search criteria using any of the following search fields.
  - In the** Customer **field, start typing the customer's name or** **ID and select your desired option from the list of suggested customers.
    Alternatively, click the **Search** icon to open the **Customer Finder** window and search for a customer.
  - Select a **Branch** from the drop-down menu. The default is your current home branch.
  - In the **Sales Rep **field, enter the sales rep ID of the sales rep or use the **Search** icon.
  - Select a **Type** from the drop-down menu.
  - Enter the **Order #**.
    Click **Advanced** to use the following fields:
  - Select a **Status** from the drop-down menu.
  - In the **Cust. O/N** field, enter the relevant customer order number.
  - In the **Assignee **field, enter the assignee's user ID or use the **Search** icon.
3. Click **Find** to display all sales orders that match the search criteria.
4. Click the relevant **Order** hyperlink to view and maintain detailed information about the selected sales quote or sales order.
