# Overview

You can customise the columns in grid views throughout Frameworks to suit your needs. This includes resizing, sorting, adding or removing columns, grouping data, and freezing columns for easier viewing.

## Resizing Columns

You can adjust column widths to better view your data.

2. Right-click on the column header you want to sort by.
3. Select **Sort Ascending** or **Sort Descending**.

Alternatively, you can click directly on the column header to toggle between ascending and descending sort order.

## Adding or Removing Columns

You can choose which columns are visible in your grid view.

1. Navigate to any screen with a grid view.
2. Click the **Columns** button (typically located above or near the grid).
3. Enable or disable columns by selecting or clearing the checkboxes next to the column names.

The grid updates immediately to show only your selected columns.

## Grouping Columns

You can group data by specific columns to organise related records together.

1. Navigate to any screen with a grid view.
2. Right-click on the column header you want to group by.
3. Select **Group by [column name]** (for example, **Group by Brn**).

The grid reorganises to group all records with the same value in that column. Click the expand or collapse icons to view or hide the grouped data.

3. Select **Freeze [column name]** (for example, **Freeze Brn**).

The frozen column remains visible on the left side of the grid as you scroll right.

2. Select **Unfreeze [column name]**.

1. Navigate to any screen with a grid view.
2. Click on the column header you want to move.
3. Drag the column to its new position.
4. Release the mouse button to drop the column in place.

You can save your customised grid layout to use it again in the future.

### Saving Your Configuration

2. Select **Save My Configuration**.
3. Click **Yes** to confirm.

Your configuration is now saved and will remain until you change it or restore a different configuration.

### Restoring Configurations

You have three restore options:

- **Restore My Configuration**: Restores your previously saved custom configuration.
- **Delete My Configuration**: Removes your saved configuration permanently.

To restore a configuration:

1. Right-click anywhere in the grid (not on the header).
2. Select your preferred restore option.
3. Click **Yes** to confirm if prompted.
