Refer to the below table of contents for adding and maintaining UOM within Frameworks:

### Adding a new UOM

| Task |
| --- |
| From the > Macro (inline-media-image)

 button expand **System Administration** - **System Tables** then select **Unit of Measure**. |
| Click "Add" to add a new UOM line. |
| Enter the details of the new unit of measure:<br>> Macro (nested-table) |
| Click "Save" |

  


### Maintaining an existing UOM

| Step | Task |
| --- | --- |
| 1 | From the > Macro (inline-media-image)

 button expand **System Administration** - **System Tables** then select **Unit of Measure**. |
| 2 | To edit an existing UOM click on the required table field and update the value/s. |
| 3 | Click 'Save' once changes have been made. |
| 4 | To delete a UOM, select the UOM line you wish to delete and click the "Remove" button.<br>> ⚠️ A warning popup will prevent user from deleting a UOM if there are products that exist with that UOM. You will need to change the UOM on all products using the UOM value before proceeding with the deletion.
