# How to Modify product lines at POS

To modify product lines at POS, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **them navigate to** Sales > Transaction Processing > Point Of Sale **from the navigation tree.
2. In the **Product **field enter the product id, scan the product or search for the product to be added to the sale.
  1. The **Description **(displayed below the product field), **Quantity **(defaults to 1), **UOM**, **Unit Price** and **Disc %** (defaults to 0) are automatically populated.
  2. Edit the fields as required.
  3. Click the **Check **icon or press <**Enter**> to add the product to the sale.

3. Click the **Edit (Pencil) **icon, at end of the product line, to open the **Edit Sales Line **window.

> ℹ️ Click the **Previous Sales** button to view any previous sales information related to the customer and product. This is handy to see what discounts you have given the customer in the past.

4. Update the required fields, such as **Quantity, UOM , GP%, Unit Price, Discounts **and **Comments.**
5. Click **Save** to commit the changes.
