This process explains how to add a new project.

## Adding a Project

To add a new project:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Projects** from the navigation tree.
2. In the search fields, enter the Project No., Customer No. and/or Description, then click **Find**.

3. Click **New** at the top of the page.

> ℹ️ The **Project ID** is automatically populated. The **Assignee** defaults to the logged-in user. The **Status** is automatically populated to *New*. System code 'SysAttPath' in the *System Attachments Directory* specifies the default directory where all attachments are saved. This is automatically populated in the **Attachment Path** field.

4. In the **Customer** field, enter the Customer No. or search for it via the **Search** icon.
5. In the **Description** field, enter a description of the project.
6. In the **Directory** field, enter the Directory ID for the project.
7. Click **Save/Close** to save the new project.
