Overview The  Copy  option for new sales orders and quotes allows you to copy the details of a selected transaction into a new sales order. The transaction types that can be copied into a new order/quote are Invoices  including surcharges if applicable. Quotes  including Archived Quotes, Active Quotes, Won Quotes, Lost Quotes and Quotes with a contract with products no longer assigned to it. Sales Orders  including expired contracts. An Internal Customer sale cannot be created via the  Copy  function. The transaction header and detail lines are copied into the new Sales Order including tallies, picking group, line comments, and pricing. Creating a New Order Using Copy There are 2 ways that you can copy a previously created Invoice, Quote or Sales Order into a NEW sales order. To do this, perform the following: Navigate to the Sales Order Dashboard Click the Frameworks Menu, then navigate to  Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders  from the navigation tree. Click  New  to open the  New Sales Order  window. Access the Sales Order Copy Function There are 2 ways you can access the  Sales Order Copy  window; these are: Click  Copy Order  from the  New Sales Order  window. This will open the  Sales Order Copy  window (see the steps below on how to use this). Create a new sales order/quote as you would normally, and from the Sales Order Maintenance screen, click  Actions , then select  Copy from  the menu. This will open the  Sales Order Copy   window. If a product has already been added to the new sales order, you are unable to proceed with a copy. A message,  "One or more order lines have been entered. Unable to copy,"  is displayed. Refer to  Create a Sales Order  for more information. Use the Sales Order Copy function ￼ In the  Customer  field, enter the customer or click the  Search  icon to search for a customer you would like to copy the transaction from. In the  Type  field, select the type of order you'd like to copy via the drop-down menu.  In the  Order#  field enter the order number you want to be copied or search for it via  , then select the relevant transaction no to copy based on your filtered search criteria. The  B/O  field is automatically updated with the Back Order number of the transaction selected and defaults to 0 if there are none. Click  Copy  once you have completed the Sales Order Copy steps. If you have used the  Copy Order  button in the  New Sales Order  window, click  Save  to open the sales order maintenance window. The transaction header and detail lines are copied into the new Sales Order including tallies, picking group, line comments, and pricing.  When  discount override pricing, discount group override pricing, contract override pricing,  or  price override  has been applied to an existing Invoice, Quote or Sales Order, the override pricing is also copied when the Copy feature is used for new Sales Orders.
