In **Min/Max Forecasting Maintenance **you can defined the details/parameters that the [Stock Forecasting Update](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391532) scheduled task will use to calculate and update branch stock minimums, maximums and product performance categories for each branch.

## Maintaining a Min/Max Forecast

To maintain a min/max forecast, complete the following:

1. Click > Macro (inline-media-image)

 and navigate to **Inventory** > **Stock Level Management** > **Min/Max Forecasting Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Select your desired branch from the **Branch** dropdown menu or select **All Branches** and click > Macro (inline-media-image)

3. Click the relevant **Branch** hyperlink and the right side of the screen will populate with the forecast details.

4. Click any row to reveal the editable fields and change the values as necessary. Fill in the fields as follows:
  - Select a **Forecasting Method** from the dropdown menu.
  - The **Ranking** fields must contain the numbers from 1 to n (current number of rows).
  - Ensure that the **Ranking %** fields are equal to 100. The current total is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
  - In the **Performance Category **field, enter the correct value or use the **Search **button.
5. To add a new performance category, click > Macro (inline-media-image)

 and add the appropriate values to the editable fields.
6. To remove a performance category, select the relevant row and click > Macro (inline-media-image)

7. Click > Macro (inline-media-image)

 to finalise your changes or click > Macro (inline-media-image)

 to abandon your changes.
8. Once the Min/Max forecasting details have been added or updated you will need to run the [Stock Forecasting Update](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391532) scheduled task to apply the changes.
