# Overview

When raising a Purchase Order, as per [Add Products to a Purchase Order](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530866), the user can select the Order type of either "**Daily**", or "**Stock**"

Where:

> **Daily: **The pricing is based on next day delivery (which generally have less discount than 'stock' deliveries).
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> **Stock:** If delivery is part of the weekly stock order, additional discounts are applied as per below. The 'Stock' pricing is generally based on the branch ordering a larger qty on the agreed stock order day, where additional discounts are applied by the supplier.

Based on the **Order Type** selected, the purchase order pricing is updated on saving based on available contract pricing.
