Overview Tally products  include timber, pipe or any product you can sell by length. How to Receive a Tally Product To receive a tally product in a purchase order, perform the following:  If the product has been identified as a tally product, the   button is enabled. Click the button and the  Tally Maintenance  screen appears. From here you can update, as required, the  Unit Cost  and any  Quantities  and  Lengths. Additional information on the Tally Maintenance window. Field Description Unit Cost  This defaults to the  Standard Cost  from the  Product Maintenance . A  Standard Cost  is the cost of the product by it's  Sales Terminology . For example, 1 lineal meter = the Standard Cost. The  System Setting - Flag  PurUOMCst overrides the view levels settings for viewing the Unit Cost. Quantity Type the number of products required for the length of the selected product. Length Type the length/s required for the selected product. LM Total lineal metres based on length x qty Click  once complete. Continue to process receiving of the purchase order.
