Using Agreed Pricing in Sales Orders and Quotes If the Order Value is within the allowed tolerances you will be notified that the order has either exceeded or is below the Agreed price. Click  Yes - Perform Save  to Accept the quote. If the Order Value varies from the Agreed Price by more than the allowed tolerances you will be notified to check the order details, will NOT be able to accept the quote. Click  No - Don't Save  and review the quote details and adjust the Order Value or Agreed Pricing accordingly.  Overview The  Agreed Pricing (AGR)  feature with Frameworks allows your sales team to price up a sales order or quote while staying within a defined tolerance of an agreed price with a customer. Important:  To complete these steps, you need to have configured the agreed pricing tolerance for the customer. Quoting with Agreed Pricing To create and accept a quote with  Agreed Pricing , perform the following: 1. Create a Sales Quote Refer to  Create a Sales Quote  form more information.  2. Open the Sales Orders Screen Click  Frameworks  then navigate to  Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders  from the navigation tree. 3. Create a New Quote Click  New , then select the  Customer  from the  New Sales Order  window. If the customer has  Agreed Price Required  enabled, an  Agreed Price  field will be appear. 4. Enter Agreed Price Enter the agreed price. This can be edited later in the quote if required. 5. Complete Header Details Enter the rest of required header details and click  Save . 6. Update a Quote's Agreed Price Add the products to the quote as per normal. To update the  Agreed Price  value, click the  Actions  button and select  Edit Header  from the menu. In the  Edit Header  window update the a  Agreed Price  field. Below the agreed price displays the  Total Order Value  inc GST. Click  Save .  7. Mark as Entry Completed If enabled, when marking the quote as completed you will be able to update the  Agreed Value  in the  Complete Order/Quote  window.  There will be no warnings related to Agreed Pricing tolerances on marking a quote as completed. 8. Accept the Quote On accepting the quote, if the agreed value differs from the order value, a warning is displayed:  Order Total has exceeded the Agreed Price (Within the allowed tolerances) Order Total is below the Agreed Price (Within the allowed tolerances) Order Total varies from the Agreed Price by more than the allowed tolerances. Enable  Confirm Agreed Price  to proceed, then click  Save . Refer to  Agreed Price Configuration  for more information on defining the tolerances. Sales Orders with Agreed Pricing Once a quote has been accepted or a sales order has been created with  Agreed Pricing , perform the following: Sales Order from a Quote Acceptance For  Sales Orders  which have been created by the acceptance of a quote, if there have been no changes to the total order value, you can  Pick and Release  the order as normal. 1. Create a Sales Order Refer to  Create a Sales Quote  form more information.  2. Open the Sales Orders screen Click  Frameworks  then navigate to  Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders  from the navigation tree. 3. Create a new sales order Click  New , then select the  Customer  in the  New Sales Order  window. If the customer has  Agreed Price Required  enabled, the  Agreed Price  field will be appear. 4. Enter Agreed Price Enter in the  Agreed Price  value. This can be edited later in the sales order if required.  5. Complete header details Enter the remaining header details, then click  Save . 6.  Update an order's Agreed Price Add the products to the sales order as normal. To update the agreed price, click the  Actions  button, then select  Edit Header  from the menu. In the  Edit Header  window, update the  Agreed Price  field. Below the agreed price displays the  Total Order Value  inc GST. 7. Mark as entry completed When marking the sale order as completed you will be able to update the  Agreed Value  in the  Complete Order/Quote  window. If the agreed value is within the accepted tolerances enable  Confirm Agreed Price  to be able to accept the quote, then click  Save . If no agreed price has been defined, it defaults to the total order value. If the agreed price exceeds the defined tolerances, changes can be saved but the order will not be marked as complete. Adjust the agreed price or total value to proceed. Example: Order Value within defined Agreed Value Tolerances Order Value outside the defined Agreed Value Tolerances 8. Pick and release the order Proceed with the usual  Pick and Release  process. Stock availability and negative stock settings apply during picking. Refer to  Pick and Release  for more information.
