### Import Packs into your Stocktake

To import packs into your stocktake, complete the following:

1. Click **Actions** to open the actions menu and select **Import Packs** to open the **Stocktake Import Packs** task.
2. If at this point you don't have a .csv file prepared, complete the following to prepare a .csv file ready for import:
  1. Within the **Update Field** text box, select the fields you wish to update (hold the CTRL key to select multiple fields). By default, all the fields are selected.
  2. Click **Download Template** to download a pre-formatted .csv file ready for you to add a list of pack numbers and their locations.
3. Complete the necessary criteria as follows:
  - The **Branch** and **Stocktake** fields automatically populate based on the current stocktake.
  - Enable  **Report Only** to output a report of the results without affecting the stocktake.

> ⚠️ Errors with the import will occur for the following reasons.
> ⚠️
> ⚠️ - The Timber Pack doesn't already exist in the system.
> ⚠️ - The location entered is NOT a valid Stock Location in the Branch linked to the stocktake.
> ⚠️ - A Timber Pack has already been added to the stocktake.
> ⚠️ - No Pack number has been provided in the import file.
> ⚠️
> ⚠️ **Note**:** **If no **Location **is required, then leave blank.

5. If necessary, navigate to the **Schedule** tab and schedule the file upload or just click **Submit** to upload right away.
6. The **Output** tab will display the results of the completed task. The results are displayed in a report similar to the following:
